MOTOFLOOR INSTALLATION

BEFORE YOU START

Sweep excess dirt and dust from the floor. Before laying tiles, all debris must be removed from the underlying surface to eliminate lumps. You can install it during the hottest part of the day to ensure your floor is at its maximum size.

THE INTERLOCKING SYSTEM

There are two parts to the interlocking PowerLock® system: the female loop (fig 1.) and the male peg (fig 2.) The male pegs are inserted and snapped into the female loops.

When installing, the female loops on all of the tiles should face the same direction. (fig 3.) Caution: If you inadvertently rotate a tile 90 degrees, it will snap into place, but you will not be able to complete the installation. (fig 4.)

ASSEMBLY

Always begin the installation in one corner on the garage door side of the garage. Start by creating an L shape and pointing the female loops in the two directions that you will add additional tiles. Leave a 1/2” gap between any walls and the flooring to allow for expansion. (fig 5.)
